Beurre Hardy

Raised in about 1820 by M. Bonnet, a friend of Dr Van Mons, at Boulogne, France. It was named after M. Hardy, the director of the Luxembourg gardens. Introduced in about 1940. Fruits have white tinged pink, tender flesh with a rose water flavour.
