Burrell's Red Myrobalan

Received by the National Fruit Trials in 1924 from R.J. Burrell, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk. The original tree grew in a garden at Littlebury, Essex in about 1870. Fruits have soft, juicy flesh which is a little sweet and insipid.
