Gordon Castle

Originated at Gordon Castle, Fochabers, Scotland. It was recorded in 1864. Received by the National Fruit Trials in 1961 from the Scottish Horticultural Research Institute. Fruits have rather soft, very juicy flesh with a sweet and rich flavour.
