A chance seedling found in about 1884 near Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. Introduced by Miller. Received the Award of Merit in 1908 and a First Class Certificate in 1910 from the Royal Horticultural Society. Fruits have firm, greenish white flesh with an acid flavour.
